Apologies in advance if there is a topic on the forum dealing with this, but I have a problem with my mod/map pack and I do not know where else to find assistance.

My mod is a map pack with three civilisations - Germany, France, Russia.

I have established all of the civs' cities and resources before the match begins, and intended for the scenario to play out as an epic war between the three.

I exported it to ModBuddy, ensuring that the map was exactly as I wanted it to be, and selected "Build".

I loaded the map up in Single Player, clicked "Load Scenario". I noticed that I was only able to select the three civs in question, but that their names had not been changed as I had done in the WorldBuilder.

And I spawned with a warrior and a settler, on the map I had made, with no cities of any kind in sight.

I have tried this several times, with the same result each time. I simply am not sure what to do. Any help you can offer would be appreciated.

Because the tutorials subforum is only for tutorials, not for questions ;).

There's a slight problem with that - whenever I try to publish my map pack to the Steam Workshop, I simply am not able to. I'm not sure what causes that. Therefore, it is not available in the "mods" section.

That's your problem then. You will ONLY get the assigned cities, starting positions, units etc on the maps IF you start from the Mods/Single Player menu - so you need to solve why you can't see your mod, and BTW you only need to build your mod to see it in your own game, there is no need to publish it to Steam and then download it again

Oddly, I find now that it's working. Huh.

Well, thank you for your assistance anyway. I may post on these fora again in the future, as I'm in the process of coming up with a mod.

So, thanks. Bye for now.
