Hi, all, I'm learning to mod CivV for the first time, mainly using Kael's guide to create a Jewish Civ. But at an early stage, I'm having two problems:
1. For my trait, I want to do "Talmudic Tradition: All Monuments, Temples, and Monestaries produce +1 Science." But the schema doesn't seem to support building yield changes as a trait.
2. I'm making icons in GIMP (using GIMP for the first time), using the PSD Icon Atlas templates, and I've gotten the following problems:
A. At first, I just got a black box. I figured out it was a problem with not merging the layers and did that. Then,
B. I got the icon I wanted, but the Alpha layer must not have come out, because it was surrounded by a black rectangle. I tried to fix this by going to the channels dialog box in GIMP and making the Alpha layer visible, but then,
C. I got a red circle instead of my icon, and the same black box around it. Thinking maybe the alpha layer needed to be inverted, I inverted the alpha channel, but then I got a black circle in a black box instead.
So...what do you think I'm doing wrong?
