What should Atomic Era melee unit be?
A. Assault Infantry.
This unit represents combined arms infantry since WW2 onwards. And especially those with assault rifles in Cold War (those with either FN FAL, M-16 or AK series ). Actually this also includes those with submachineguns as well.
This is a unit in my mod. https://forums.civfanatics.com/resources/zaab-spicey.28012/
B. Motorized Infantry
C: Mobile Infantry
Actually these unit in B and C are the same. representing the uses of autmotives when moving and then deployed on foot. Germans were amongs the first to make extensive uses of Motorized and Mechanized infantry so to efficiently support armored units. Alternatively Japanese also use bicycles as a vehicle for combat unit in addition to trucks (And later, halftracks)
Two o Three mods use this unit.
D: None!
So do you insists that the default Infantry can represent WW2 and Cold War foot soldiers as well as representing WW1 infantryman?
