I know that there a lot of mods that limit your tecnhology (or outright change it) to prevent you from "teching up" after the Medieval Era.
The problem is the water-based maps.
All Medieval mod are either:
1 - Water-based maps cannot be played because you don't have access to the necessary techs to build the Caravel, Frigate and move on ocean tiles (getting stuck with Triremes fighting Crossbowmen is not fun).
2 - You have access to them (Pillars of the Earth mod) but you also have access to Gunpowder and Artillery. (not to mention access to Coal with no way to spend it)
I would like a mod where you lock any further advancement after the Medieval Era, but at the same time it shifts the techs of the Caravel and Frigate to the Medieval Era, allowing them to be obtained without having to delve into gunpowder.
At the same time, if it's not something too much to ask, doing it without changing the tecnhologies themselves. The reason is because I use other mods that change some of the tecnhologies (mainly economy based mods that give bonus to farms, etc, when the necessary tech is researched).
The only exception would be for balance reasons. (for example, the Frigate might be too powerfull against Medieval Land-based units. If that's the case, changing its values is fine by me)

A word of thanks in advance to whoever is interested in doing it.
