Assuming that you already have CivV on Steam, you go to Steam, go to your library, find the drop-down that selects the view you have (for example, 'all games' or 'installed'), and select 'tools'; the SDK should be in the list, as 'Sid Meier's Civilization V SDK' (or something very like)

Suddenly, the sdk is not working anymore, any tips?
What exactly is going wrong? I've had problems with the map editor loading, but never with any of the other tools (except Nexus which is a useless whore tramp with a gimp leg).
With the Map Editor is seemed to lock up on the splash screen and not proceed to allow me to create a map. When this happened I left it running and after an stupidly long time it finished loading and I have not had a problem since. When I researched this others had the same problem and had tried reinstalling with no effect.
