Howdy,:worship: for [c3c]
This scenario was easy to build and lets the player start in the modern era. Scientific CiVs are less useful to play as hear although no techs in the modern era have been researched. Expansionist CIVs still retain a certain usefulness- as long as there are chunks of uninhabited territory barbarians will linger:borg:. The Barbarins have been updated for this game but are not strong enough to pose a significant threat. BUT, I am still working on them to actually get them to work:aargh:.The task in the game is to conquer the whole world as soon as possible[plasma]. With loads of CIVs this makes it easier as they can be conquered quickly and so wars are short. Resources to CIV ratios have
not been altered so resource wars are often. Ummmmm... Oh yeah, the years have been changed but its OK. I experimented with new units but Ill leave that for a later veraion. One more thing- There is a frenzy to build wonders but it dosen't hamper gameplay and no obsolete wonders can
be built.
This text is also in the readme under 'Background' for reference.
:thanx:
For the best game I recommend certain game rules to be followed::D
When choosing a world follow Kettyo's ALLCIV scenario rules:
60% Ocean for maximum land.
Continents for a more interesting game.
Wet Climate for most rivers etc.
Temperate for most diverse terrain.
5 billion year old world for smoothest terrain.

It is also recommended that Barbarions are set to 'raging' to add
better gameplay early on.
Accelerated production should be highlited as Modern Era units
are very expensive for a growing CIV.
I believe that games are largely pointless if 16+ CIVs are placed on a
map size below standard.

No game rules which should drastically alter gameplay have been
written.

All feedback is welcome! please post in this thread or email me at greye_skye@hotmail.com!:D

Enjoy!!!!!

I should mention that it is different from the PTW version on the PTW disk (unknown author) and is perfect for Conquests.
If you have any ideas for this scenario please post.

P.S :thanx: for that download

I gave them Marine, Transport and TOW infantry but they don't seem to apear. I tried the game with machine gunners and other WWII pacific units but just adding 1 or 2 new units kinda unbalances it. I'm still wondering about trying to turn it into a complete MOD type thingy with new units but I thought I might just post V1.0 anyho.

:D

I maybe havn't posted this yet but the basic game rules have been changed- including resources.
they appear in clumps to encourage trading and they do not dissapear. I didn't set the appearance and dissapearnce the same though so your strategics should not fly away and land somewhwere else!

I now can confirm that the new modern barbarians live on V1.0. :)
I have also started work on V2.0 which will have really drastic changes and will be titled 'A New Age'. I'd give it a coupla weeks as almost every rule has to be altered to gain the maximum gameplay out of it.
I will bring out V1.1 etc when I get some feedback about bugs etc. so I can fix 'em.:mutant:
Ummmmm...... So, give me lots of feed back.
This scenario will feature on the main page under 'this weeks downloads' on wednessday so hang tight.
I have also noticed some mistakes in the readme as it was written before V1.0 was finished so V1.1 should come with a whole new pakage.

C'mon, guys, there must be something wrong with it!

I also need to know what needs to be changed in your opinion to improve the game.:help:

Whenever I unzipped the rar file, and then play it...it just takes me to the page where you choose size, climate, etc of your world...then it starts out with a settler and modern worker..is this supposed to happen?

thanks!!! I screamed out loud when I loaded C3C to play this and it wasn't there! Now I don't have to play through the three early ages to get to the most fun age!! :thanx:

I really love this mod. Here's a question, is tehre an way to play the world map with it? a random seed or something

 This mod is really just a random map created in the future era. When I first got conquests I was upset that there was no scenario like this so I made it. I have decided to abandon Modern Era and go straight into a completed modern scenario minus a map. Buuuuuuut I am having trouble with [c3c] editor and building new units. If anyone can help, how can I select multiple unit abilities but not ones right next to each other? this is the final hurdle. I expect this to be finished a week today if I can get this sorted. Watch this threads for details.:help:

Sorry, meant to say "modern Era". The new scenario will be titled "The Planet". I hope to keep this title unless it is missleading.:saiyan: Again it will be set in the modern Era with a random map. New features are as follows: Old units and those before replaceable parts will not be available. New units have been added hoping that the effect will cause AI to use tactics depending on the units they are using. Different traits will give different starting techs and the scenario is complete with a storyline. Expected release date March 23.

I am in your debt:crazyeye:
