Modern Warfare mod

Hi i have trying to up load mods with out success i just downloaded modern warfer and up loaded it to civ 4 and warlords which is patched at 2.08 and also the mod ww2_1939_ver2. I can open up modern warfare by going advance options then clicking on the mod but I dont have any of the new units and nothing seams diffrent apart from the home screen in the top right corner saying its the modern warfare patch. with ww2 it dosent even show up as an option to select. Also i have downloaded a heap of units can some one help me get them in the game how do i install them thanks i am new at this but all these mods seam greAT i cant stay of this site.
