"Modern World Map" for Mac?

hey guys . .

just got civ3 for my ibook g4 and im loving it. ive spent the last few hours looking for a huge world map with modern civilizations and starting points that is for normal civ3 and not conquest or whatever. if you guys DON'T know of one, let me know and i'll just make one for the mac community.

I am also new had the game for about 3 weeks now. haven't seen one, but I haven't looked that hard.

Im new to civ III too. But I found you can use the maps and mods made for PC's Here is a link to a large Earth there are others.
Just drop them scenario or map folder.

It's a good map, but is there any way to make it modern? Also, can you make it so that the players start in the right places? When I played I was India and started in what would be Greece.

Not possible on the mac since our editor doen't have the feature to place starting positions. You can ask a PC user to make you something in the customization forum. There are players who probably spend more time using the editor than actually playing the game.
