Forum,
I'm an avid Civ IV dude, but something about the game (and previous iterations of the series) has always vexed: the abundance of strategic resources and how controlling more than a single 'node' is only beneficial in trading.
Is there a mod/tweak that limits the spawn of strategic resources (such as oil), increasing their value/effect? Like, I'd like to play a game knowing that I'll need control over certain areas (abundant in resources) to maintain my army, or that control of these areas bolsters unit production (more oil = more vehicles can be produced/maintained).
Are there any mods with these features, in tandem? And if not, maybe a custom 'Earth' map with more limited resources?
Thank you, preemptively, for any help.
