No idea where I'll be living come September. Wife and I are looking to buy a house. She wants Vancouver, I want Newfoundland (seriously ). We'll likely be in the States through the summer too ><

No offence, but are you on drugs? And just as an aside, don't move to Vancouver. The cost of living there is absurdly high driven primarily by the cost of land. You have people who make as much as $65,000 a year with good credit being rejected for mortgages because housing prices are just so damn high. Do not live in Vancouver, avoid it at all costs.

No, it's far away from everything and beautiful. Though I'm willing to go with PEI or Nova Scotia. I figure if I throw out NL, she'll see Halifax as a fair compromise.
