MOO2: How to make Feudalism work?

What does MP have to do with any thing that has been discussed? I do not recall that being mentioned any place. I think it is a given that MP is different, about .001 of Moo2 players ever played MP.

I think the percentage of people who have played MOO2 MP is a lot higher than that since it's one of the best features and the AI sucks.

The percentage of people who currently do might be around 2% or less but then the game is over ten years old.
 
So if it sold 600,000 unit, it probably sold more than that, you are saying that several thousands of players played MP? I doubt that. How many play now, few dozen?

In any event in all the yeas I have been on this board, Poly or Atari, only a few post was about MP play. When someone makes a point about the game, it is presumed to not be about MP. If one wants to talk about MP, they should say so or the response will be about solo play.

The games are nearly completely different, so of course all I said about Feud is not meant to be use in MP. If you are using the player develop patches for MP, it is even more unlike the std Moo2.

It is good to see ppl stay with reality. By the sound of some Moo2 is an alternative to WoW.
 
Sure, it works against the relatively weak AI of MOO2. Will it work in MP when wormholes are turned off and omni is banned?

Eh? Banning specific game features and then announcing specific strategies as not workable? Why would anyone care about your personal rule preferences. Stick to the game, not some madeup creation.

Those aren't my personal rule preferences, they are common MP preferences that are designed to improve balance.
 
Designed by whom, by these 20ppl who play online? Thats surely a big and representative basis yes... Gamedevs did Moo2 balance and the game. Dont like it, dont play it. But hey, nobody is stopping anyone to not use some features. But it is hilarious to see ppl deny valid game tactics "because i and my friends banned it". Who cares.

How is it that people not using a specific feature is somehow a personal insult to you? Because you seem pretty mad about it.
