Idea for an Elimination Thread based on Unit Types. Judging units could be based on availability (how early or late it arrives), access (on the Tech/Civic trees, how 'out of your way' do you have to go to get them), usefulness for its particular map (for example, Naval overall not as good as land, but is a Naval Raider unit worse on a water map than an Anti-Cavalry is on land? The idea is to judge it at its best), general need (how often do you build them), the promotions you get in its promotion tree, and all the units found within its promotion line.
These types are:
1. Melee
2. Ranged
3. Recon
4. Anti-Cavalry
5. Heavy Cavalry
5. Light Cavalry
6. Siege
7. Naval Melee
8. Naval Ranged
9. Naval Raider
10. Naval Carrier
11. Air Fighter
12. Air Bomber
13. Anti-Air
14. Support
15. Giant Death Robot
*Bonus: Ranged Cavalry (Barbarian Horse Archer, Sakka Horse Archer, and Keshig)
