I just installed Civ II on a computer with XP Home, and I can start games and load scenarios. But when my civilization learns its first tech, it shows an error message that says 'The file "GET_INFO.REC" cannot be opened because the following error has occurred: no such file or directory." Is there a solution to this problem?

Well if its a fresh install I would recommend it be updated with the latest official patch from the downloads section, this isn't a file but a command of some kind inside of a file. Also make sure you have the latest Indeo video drivers from my site http://hometown.aol.com/cedricgreene/
