I dunno how I downloaded it. It's just there.
Wildtangent web driver, has caused over half of the spyware I have. I don't know what it is, but it's there. I tried to uninstall it twice but it won't go away. There's just no way, and this gives me so much spyware. What can I do?

Assuming you have Adaware SE with Def files SE1R19 and Spybot installed I would say do it the old way. Find all files with the name wild tangent and delete them.

I delted all corrupted files corrupted by WildTangent but I can't uninstall it...

You don't have to unistall it to remove it from your computer. Delete all files that belong to that WildTangent thing, not just files corrupted by it. Remove all of it's entries in the registry editor.

It comes bundled with many games, and came with my NVidia

If you are using XP or ME, reboot in Safe Mode, disable System Restore, make sure all files are not hidden, then try running Spybot and Adaware....

Wild Tangent is a bit of a pain but not really that malicious. In fact, neither doxdesk.com nor pestpatrol.com (now part of the Computer Associates site)list it in their databases.

If the safe mode trick doesn't work, download HiJackThis, save the log and go to the Spywareinfo forums (http://forums.spywareinfo.com/) for help with the log. The problem with manual deletion is that you will have to find the registry settings as well as the files. HiJackThis will help you do that. But don't, under any circumstances, start fixing things with HJT without help.

Check to see if it is running in memory (control alt delete - then select task management). End anything that looks suspicious, then try to remove wildtangent

BTW - in Spybot S&D 1.3, there is an option under tools (if in advanced mode) to check system startup items. You should go through them and uncheck all that comes up as viruses, hijacks or trojans

as a last resort you can format your harddrive. thats really drastic though and will erase EVERYTHING on the drive.
