Multiplayer too easy?

Hello,

I'm wondering what anyone else's experiences are with multiplayer vs computer?

I enjoy playing Civ V with my mate against the computer, and wouldn't want to play online against other people. Multiplayer does seem way too easy though and the computer is hopeless. I definitely feel there is a huge difference between playing the computer on single player and playing the computer on multiplayer, on the same level.

Anyone else feel this way? I assume that many do.

Any 'fixes' for this?

Also, when playing on say, a standard map size with a mate, I think the game automatically puts in 6(?) computer civilizations. Increasing this to more computer civilizations comes up with a warning - are there any real effects of doing this? Could reduce the states too.

Try playing multi player with 0 AI and all human! Won't be as easy!

I concur, the AI in MP is even worse than the AI in SP for some reason.
