New situation for me. Just got an artifact as part of a peace settlement. It took up the last slot in a museum, but the archaeologist did not go poof as I had expected. If I use that archaeologist to dig up his last artifact, it appears the artifact just goes away.
I don't suppose the artifact is actually cached and will show up should I build another museum. Anyone had experience with the situation?
