Music in Civ4 Menus?

Hi Guys,

I was just wondering if anybody knew what the music is that plays at the beginning of Civ 4, when you are setting up your game? I haven't changed it at all, so it should be the default. I really love the music and was looking for the name so I can download it ( through iTunes preferably).

Anyway, if anybody knows the name of that, I would really appreciate it.

I was about to start a post on the Civ 4 music .

On Civilization 3 I would usually turn off the music...except for in the early game when that tribal music would 'hoomph' its way faster and faster.

I LOVE the Civ 4 music .

And that opening theme ( or whatever ) sounds really Lion King-y .

Or , it sounds like it should be the theme for the latest Survivor .

Either way , it just adds to an already spectacular game .

Goober, you don't need to download it, because you already have it. Look under C:\Program Files\Firaxis Games\Sid Meier's Civilization 4\Assets\Sounds\Soundtrack. You'll find all the game's music there, in mp3 files.

Hoho, it does sound like Lion King, possibly because of those 'jungle' music with a bit of 'some unknown language'

Out of sheer, pure utter curiousity, any clue as to if the music was specially created for CIV 4, or if it came from a band?

But ya, I found the jungle-esque song I was looking for. Thanks again.
