My first demigod win

I just got my first demi-god win. It was a large continents americans diplomatic victory. I'm proud beacuse my starting land was really bad, almost no rivers so I had to build aquaducts in most cities. It was a very peaceful game, I only fought in two middle age wars and only took two towns. I did a ton of trading and spent most of the game doing my own research at 100%. After half way through the industrial age, I did most of the world's research. So, it can be done. I built TOE, Hoover Dam and UN. I never got a GA.

Congrats budweiser! I probably would never even try that high level. Regent is good enough for me. If I want an Extra chalenge than I play Monarch (but not that often tho).

Yeah, you're right, so many times when start looks like a complet lost if I don't quit at the end usually become very succesfull Win Game... it's almost a rule

Grats, actually I also had my first demigod victory recently, playing as Greeks, never fought a war and done most of the research myself... I also did not have a GA... Lots of similarities, even that it was also a diplo vic.
