Here's my ideas for a new Civ IV expansion, it's got a few blanks, not yet refined, but it can be filled in later...so here goes...
Civilization IV Expansion
New Religions:
Shinto - Shinto Temple - Shinto Jinja - Shinto Monestery; Religious Wonder: Itsukushima Shrine
Jainism - Jain Temple - Jain Tirtha - Jain Monastery; Religious Wonder: The Gomatheswara

Satanism - Satanic Temple - Satanic Church - (No Monastery); Religious Wonder: Satanic Black House

If a city is founded on a razed city with a destroyed wonder, that wonder is unearth, restored and functions with half of benefits (full benefits with Valley of Kings)
- Allows Improvement: Historical Museum : +1
per 10% science rate
+1 10% culture

Smart Weapons "As far as missile defense is concerned, a very thorough consultation process is underway." - Gerhard Schroder
- Occurs after the laser (Needs Rocketry, Allows improvement: SAM battery, cruise missiles)
A whole new Future Age! Complete with future techs like cybernetics, nano technology and relevant units like Mech Warriors etc...

Mayans - unique unit - Eagle Warrior (replaces spearman); unique building - ceremonial platform +2 health from corn (replaces Pagan Altar)
Dutch unique unit - unique building -
Portuguese unique unit - unique building -
Belgians - unique unit - Fusilier (replaces Rifleman); unique building - Fort 15% defense against gunpowder units (replaces Castle)
New Wonders: As noted before: Panama Canal - Can only be built at cities with 0 - 2 tiles to coast on both sides
- Provides shortcut for your ships
- Can charge gold for each allied ship that passes through
- Can charge or ban non ally ships from passing through
+2 speed for ships
+1 trade route
More likely to generate a great merchant.
A more advanced UN:
The ability to withdraw or be banned from the UN (No need to follow global resolutions, Other civs are unhappy towards you for 10 turns)
