I have bene playing Civ4 since Christmas (best package in years
), and now I seek a way to enhance my gameplay.
I feel that the game runs well, considdering techs, expansion and size, compared to the time (years) went. My problem is that in real history, huge armies arent several centuries to be formed (that time is needed to make an army huge enough to be a viable city-capturer). I knwo that it is possible to hurry the production, but I still feel that the amount of units (especially in the middle ages) are too few. The game simply progresses too fast contra the time it takes to construct units/buildings (ever heard of 500-1000 years to make a freaking pottery?!?!). This equalizes in the modern times, but I really miss the huge middle ages clashes.
So I want to know if there is any mods under construction, or done, where the game is not being all that longer, but where the construction of units is more realistic?
All in all a more realistic mod would be nice, and I have tried the "realism mod" which is nice, but I wanted to know if there are other mods out there.
