My second game CIV6-Vanila

I won my first game in difficulty 4, so I do again a real map world with Aztecs, but this time in difficulty 7.
Very well, when I search the tecnology to cross ocean and go find out what is happening in Africa, Gilgamesh just become my ally and reveal all the map, it was wird.

BUT! When I saw the units of GIlgamesh, he was already in ATOMIC ERA, it is around turn 240 in epic speed. HOW HE DID IT?

Because the AI starts with 3 settlers and a bunch of tech boosts and production discounts on that level

Sumeria is a very strong Civ, with the incredible War Cart unit for early game conquest and Ziggurats for early science yields. This gives them a sizeable headstart that even the AI can leverage to become the runaway leader in the late game.
