Been a few years since I weaned myself off of Civ, however given some of the excellent mods now available I thought I'd give them a try.
So, here is the question, are there any n00b guides to mods and their use? I downloaded a couple of mods (middle earth etc) but cant see a readme file, have hunted through these forums for a sticky with regard to using the mods, have even tried extracting the files using the path names theyre set to, all to no avail!
If there is a thread I can read or someone can give me a hard and fast step by step guide to getting some of these mods up and running I'd be most grateful
