As Domestic Minister, I would like to maintain a list of common names for physical features. (Political names are covered under the CNO and Provincial Discussions.)

Post suggestions for names of physical features along with a screenshot of the relevant feature in this thread.

You may post "local" names as well as candidates for "official" names. Please Specify if you want it only as a "Local" name. (All unaccepted "Official" names will become "local" names.)

Rik's Lake (Local Name Only)

This refers to the Lake. Not the City Site.

Honorable Sir Donald III

Since the likeliness of my City to be ever built is marginal, I would respectfully ask for the river ending in the lake to be named "Provolution River" :) I hope that is acceptable :)

Yours truly

It would be, but did you not have another name for it earlier? Genki-something?

Genkigawa was for the river through Fanatikku :) Zarns request.

Stream of Vitality.

Rik, the Domestic Minister is the governor for non provinicial cities and territories, so Sir Donald is constitutionally in his full right to do so.

but isnt zarn governor of everything till provinces are set up,
because u dont see domestic posting build queues, thus i must agreee with RM

Well, naming provinces are borderline, yet, this river is partly in Zulu land as well.
For military purposes, we may even need pre-province labeling in order for us to make references to militaryplans in the right manner.

Zarnia is everything, including Zululand, so everything is up to Zarn. :p

And I've been calling the river through Odawara the Tiber, since it also goes through Rome.

The river through the capital is Genkigawa.

The lake is Rik's Lake.

I intended this thread as a Database of possible names. Not as a final arbiter.

I was unclear as to what the final arbiter was.

Zarn, given that Governors are declared Final Arbiter, I would like for this thread to remain open as a storehouse of suggestions, for the review of the respective Governor(s) per site.

Oh, and one more thing: Suggestion:

The Desert below Rik's Lake which has Foreign Cities upon it:

Valley of Defilement or Desert of Defilement or Defiled Desert/Valley. (Can be Japanatized)

Ok Zarn, to be on the safe side, I respect your authority and I always did :)
I still humbly ask for that river to become Provolution River, and that will be my only geographic request for the entire DG5 :)

Don't you mean the River?

And I also request this, seeing as it is nigh to the "Black Land" (aka the Zulus)

Since I don't think this is defined in law, that is one opinion. My opinion is that he is governor of nothing until a province is defined. So I would say the DM is "governor" all everything until a province is defined.

Here's a point we disagree on, zorven. Article O states that the land with our borders be made into Provinces, which in turn are administered by a Governor. We surely have land and Cultural borders. We surley have a Governor. Therefore we have a Province, one Province administered by our Governor, who not only sets build queues for the cities, but has all of the other perks asociated with the Governors Office.

Proposed Article G and the Section G legislation further define this.

Here're some suggestions:
River through Odawara and Rome: Tiber River
Mountains around Epolenep: Bishi Mtns.
Bay near Zojiji: Cyc (alt. spelling Kic) Sea
River through Pete and Swazi: Swazi River
The Ocean: Western or Red Ocean (sunset)

Why the Swazi River...why not the Pete River or something...? How anout the Pete-Swazi River... or something like that?
