Alright, I'll give this a goooooo... hem, 60k Zulu? I've got to try them once...

Question however: shouldn't I setup Tim's game, while Own sets up my Zulu 60k, and so forth so that we each get the game we spoke about, rather than the last one's ? Either way is fine by me.

[EDIT]: I propose VC's to be held on the mark of the first year that can possibly finish on a 4 (ie something like 1504, 1604...)

I found the date and it would be 1804. List of dates.

We would need to setup each other's games if he means for us to pass it onto someone after 20 turns (the only time we would, if I understood correctly)

This will be played in one take (estimate 5 hrs). Each one of the 4 players do the 20 first turns of one of the 4 games, then passes it down the roster and then buissness as usual.

That sounds like a normal SG to me. I'll go for the (20k) cultured Babylonians.

Is the end date the turn before or after the victory message? The turn before would seem more logical for conquest victories, but the turn before would seem more logical for cultural victories. I'd say the turn after, since that's what the GOTM and HOF uses.

I think after, cause IIRC you win right after the election, not a turn after.

That is correct. I'll try to clarify my intentions here:
We agree on a date when all of us can, simultanously, play some 5-6 hrs in 1 session.
When it's time to kick off, we generate 1 game each (the one we choosed to set up, for me Ottomans going for space, for Tim Babs 20K). We play 20 turns of that one and post to next on roster. B-e-F get Tims Babs, I get B-e-F's Zulus (60K???), Own gets my Otto's and Tim gets Owns Koreans. Then we play the normal 10 and post further on. We can decide on keeping it at 20 to reduce posting, at least until the turns start to consume time.
We will play all 4 games toghether. I will rule the Koreans just as much as Own even if he generated the set up. "My" Osman will be played by you every 4th succession.

Welcome! Just a thought, isn't a cult VC rather time consuming if it's not a 20K? You choose of course.

Well, a 100k is time consuming if you make it be ... I thought we'd be playing 1 game each, so I was willing to take the risk (especially on a tiny map), but this is indeed more tricky, and I've had bad experiences with trying to setup several people together on games like that for a long sit
The single player thing was also the reason I signed in, soooooooo ... if Khan, CVH or anyone else wants to step back in

If no one else comes about I'll take it and try to fit in the schedule. Anytime no later than 9PM ET (GMT-4 at the moment) is good with me (might have to know a few days in advance - but I'm saying that just in case). And 20 would be a good thing IMO.
