The AI Horatius League

Tournament 5, Finals

Spoiler Semifinals 1 :

Before the last game, which I expected to also go Hannibal's way, I was prepared to write how Hannibal was the perfect counter to Hatty.
But then she convincingly won that last game, and, to be honest, Hannibal got lucky in game 5: Hatty was 2 turns from a Cultural victory when one of her Big Three fell!
So... it was a much closer match that it might seem, and I guess it could have gone the other way.

Mansa wins again that match-up... but while it had seemed a logical outcome the first time round, this time... not so much.
I actually replayed the tie-breaker game once while I was preparing the files for the finals, and HC won by domination.
:dunno:

Well, well...
Funnily enough, I believe the finals is the stage of the tournament which has yielded the most surprises!

So, that's it for this experiment.

As I've mentioned earlier, I might do a one-shot follow-up at some point.
We'll see. :)

Interesting experiment, it immediately chose most better leaders from worse ones only in 5 tournaments, even in 3v3 fair setup most high peaceweigts still failed to win and come top of the rankings. Your results are similar enough with mine and your other experiments I suppose.
