Need help installing mod

Im kinda new to installing mods into civ. Actually, this is the first mod im gonna try. The problem is i put the total war folder in the mods folder and i cant find it when i start the game. Can anyone post exact instructions to installing this mod?

First, you have to extract the downloaded folder to a separate place (it can be your desktop or any other folder) and then copy the mod folder and paste it in the the Civilization IV mods folder.
