Hi i have a problem with not being an administrator on this computer.
As most of you know if you run setups in win 98/me combability you ca´n usually install anyway but i get "cannot read ikernel.exe" and its buggin me i know you cant isntall every game (even though most work just fine) but i love civ3 so i could really use some help.

Note that installing games without admin rights is not a crime in anyway, but if it involve hacking it goes under copyright infingement or some other fancy name for saying we can sue you, ... i think this can probebly be resolved by changing some of the civ3 setup configs . but i dont know how or what to do plz help me (i know im a weiner but im not a bad person non of us are we are just less smart than you who dont wein)

With best regards Political officer Piotr Vladijska

AFAIK, you need to be an administrator to install. That's a windows security feature, not something that was done by Firaxis.

I know thats what im trying to avoid tohidol is a nice fellah but i dont think he will help me install games (actually he offered to install any programs i needed but i dont think civ 3 kvalifies as need) i would also like to notify you that this is a school computer

Again, it's a Windows issue, not a Civ issue. Perhaps if you were to show tohidol that it's a game rich in history, and it has taught people history they wouldn't have otherwise known he will let you install it. And also if you were to agree to not use it during class... Perhaps a compromise could be reached.

well i supose i could ask tohidol when he gets back from the states but he is very strict on the rules... even though there are non against gaming at the moment. there used to be but not anymore ... well i vould like o have an alternitive before going to him
