Need help logging in to Civ4 Multi

I have a gamespy account, with a verified e-mail. This account has 3 profiles.

When logging into Civ 4, it asks for my "Gamespy ID" . Honestly i dont even think i know what my ID is.

I have my e-mail address.... which you cant use to login to Civ4 with, so im assuming thats not it, ive even tried using my e-mail address and took off the @domain.com still didnt work.

I then tried all 3 of my profiles, 2 of the profiles it says "The username you have entered is not valid"

and for one of the profiles it says "The login attempt has failed"

WTH is the gamespy ID? Is it my profile? is it my e-mail address? and why am i having such a hard time finding the id, when i go to the www.gamespyid.com page, i enter in e-mail and password.

For civ4 you dont enter in an e-mail and password. You enter in a username or gamespy ID(whatever the hell that is), but when i try one of my 3 profile usernames in gamespy i get nothing.

Please enlighten me on what im doing wrong ): i want to play...

Edit: Btw what does PBEM stand for?

I have the exact same problem. Can someone tell me what is one's gamespy id? We can't enter the email. Is it our gamespy id?
