Hi, I have long enjoyed Civ II and now III for some time. Didn't even know V was out or coming out. Problem is and why I am here is to figure out why my Civ III no longer works. I hadn't played it in several months until this Christmas when I tried to start it up. Can't get it to work and was hoping to get help.

Did you tried reinstalling the game?

Could be a million different reasons with the details you have given. I would agree with brainiac18, all else false do a re-install or system restore to when the game worked, or check the icon, ensure its linked to the right.
Silly as it may sound was the disk in the drive, is the hard drive you installed the game on still connected....
