Wow I'm impressed that you put the Civ 1 opening screen into your demo. I tried it using the MicroEmulator. I was able to get as far as founding a new city. Seems like you are already as far as I was with version 1 of my Palm game.

void >> it sad i dont have a palm, your version seems cool too ! If you need please feel free to rip any ressource file you want from my version (unzip the JAR, take the .mid and .png files) . the graphics are 16 color from Atari ST and the sounds comes from DOS version.

CivGeneral >> for Windows Mobile , if you dont have a Java machine preinstalled , it may be possible to install the Esmertec Jbed virtual machine on your phone. hope it works ..

I tried to install it on my BB 9000 but it failed with the error #907 "Invalid JAR". Saying smth about duplicate 's'...
Any clue on how to solve this ?
