Hey guys just started playing Civ 4 and altho brand new and still learning I love the game. Now that I am a fan of Civ 4 I was wondering what these TW games are like. Are they RTS or turn based? Which one should I get ME2 or Rome TW? Also are the games better then rise of nations? PLease let me know. Thanks...
New Civ 4 player looking into TW games need advice...

They are a combination of RTS and turn based. You moved you're armies on a campaign map in turn, but any abttles are fought in an RTS style. The turn based element is ok, but no-where near Civ4 quality, while the battles are awesomely epic.
I'd recommend M2TW... I've found it more fun, and its patched pretty well now.

There are demos out there for Medieval 2 and Rome as well, though they purely focus on the battle portions of the game.
As Truronian said, the turn-based element is Civ4-esque, but nothing compared to it. I highly recommend the games, though

I think you should either wait later for M2TW so there will be more mods coming out or buy RTW.

Get both, however, RTW will probably work on your computer, but M2 takes a good computer. What are your comptuer specs?
