New Embarking Issue??

I started a game today as the Songhai, the game is running fine and I can load it without a problem except that I can't embark my land units even after discovering Optics.

Of course I know that they must be in friendly territory to receive the upgrade but even after they return to my borders they don't receive the upgrade and they won't embark.

I even tried starting a new game and rushing to Optics to see if it was just a corrupt save file but the same thing happened again.

I'm wondering if it has something to do with a DLC issue since the game details on the load game menu list that an "Upgrade 1" and "Genghis Khan's Mongolia" DLC are required by the saved game.



I have confirmed that I have the Mongolia DLC but I'm not quite sure what the "Upgrade 1" DLC is referring to.

I have attached the save file in question for convenience.

Any assistance would be appreciated.

This issue seems to have fixed itself, not sure what happened here...oh well.

I think you have to press end turn to let the units "update" themselves.
