New patch and Marla map

Just installed the patch. Now I cannot get the correct start position thingy to work. Anyone else have this problem? Any (polite) suggestions?

This seems to be common when patching...I'm sure it won't take long before the civilisation placement tools are updated.

This is what I was wondering. I made a number of changes to Marlas Map and would like to know if I install the patch will the changes still be there AND if not can I still make changes under the new patch? I heard you can NOT do this?
