New Succesion Game?

Would anyone be interested in playing a succesion game with me?
I think this succesion game idea is so cool and I would love to try it. I'll play anyway you want.

I've got "Civ2 Classic" so I'll probably have to play with classic players.

Actually, as I understand it, so long as you're not using scenarios, you won't have any problems with the other versions (except, for some bizarre programming reason, ToT...God only knows why they didn't make that one backwards-compatable...).

I think we have a final decision on the game rules:

7 civs
Large Random Map
Raging Hordes
No Fundamentalism
Prince level or King level Difficulty

I'm having some trouble with the roman succession game played with MGE. I have both Civ classic 2.42 and Civ TOT but both of them refuses to load the MGE save file. Looks like I will have to drop out of that succession game, but a classic succession game - sure, I'm with you.

That's 4 players!! Maybe at least one more and we'll start. Now as for the MGE and classic problem I think that is a serious difficulty, but I'll try out a patch on the CivFanatics site and if it works I'll tell you about it.

After applying a lot of patches I managed to solve my MGE problems so that I can play the MGE succession game after all, but I suppose my save files now will cause you the same problems I first had so I better keep to the MGE game.

Good luck to you, I don't think you will have any trouble finding enough players for a classic game.

i think king-emperor level would do, unless everyone can handle deity.

i can handle king, large, 5 civs, but if everyone else is an expert on deity, i guess i can play deity too,

Sorry I was unable to reply lately, I've been visiting relatives

I think we'll settle on King level, large map, 7 civs(for variety) and no Fundy

As for our Civ to play as, I'll just pick a random one from the list.

Now i know there is only three of us playing just now but my plans are to get started and let people join in as we go along.

I'll start the game on 1530 hours GMT.
