I'd like to try a couple games. In some of the screenshots I see a person leaving only 1 city, thus preventing a conquest victory.
But I thought the rules stated that you must also enable the Domination victory condition? And these civs certainly had more than 66% of land and population.
Perhaps I am confused.

Also, could someone please explain Domination Points to me?

I'm not really sure what you mean by Domination Points, but I can certainly answer the general Domination victory condition question. While it may appear by screenshots that milked empires are over 66% of land and population, the real situation is just that the cities are typically spread across the best terrain. Most milked maps are kept sometimes as little as one tile under the Domination limit. This can be done using Mapstat.

I'll find a link to the program.
EDIT: The best MapStat available (only one for C3C I think) is part of Dianthus' CRP Suite: http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=52902

Ah, I was referring to the MapFinder program that a lot of the HoFers use to find a good map to play on. I was looking for an answer in the creators' post, but couldn't find it.
I meant Domination limit, not points.. I think.

Also, could you be so kind as to point me to a thread where the Milking strategy is discussed?

So few culture victories in the HoF. Is that because Domination generally pays more? (I suppose I could figure this out on my own by comparing points on Indentical maps using a war strategy and then a culture strategy).

MapFinder and MapStat are easy to get confused considering the very similar names.

No individual thread sticks out as immediately obvious. For a brief perspective, you should definitely read SirPleb's Maximizing Score article in the War Academy (War Academy is in the Civfanatics quick links, top right of page). For more in depth perspective, you should read as much as possible here in the Hall of Fame.

Domination's easier to pull off. The problem with cultural victories in regards to milking them for score would be hitting the culture limit right at 2050.

Hi xeroyne, Welcome to the HOF. :band:

IMHO, the most-challenging games are those "Milked" to 2050AD with the objective of beating other Humans' scores in the HOF.

As part of a "Milk Run", it's typical to leave only ONE city for ONE AI so that there will be no more warfare AND you can take all the "plum" squares for Maximum score.

Be WARNED though, that a carefully planned competitive "Milk Run" on a Huge Map can take scores or even hundreds(!) of hours of playing time! :)
