Love the Macedonian Hypaspist Kryten. I especially like that you take the care to create animations for every direction and not mirror the nw/ne and sw/se directions. Its probably not a big deal to gameplay, but I think it adds just that extra little bit of spit 'n polish. Smooooooooooth. :goodjob:

Why thank you Kemal69. It does take a little longer, but I think it's worth it.

To Net55:-

OH YES PLEASE! It's a shame you can't find the time to finish it, because it looks like you're halfway there. But I DO understand. ;)

With your permisson I'd like to give it a different shield emblem and rename it (technically, the Companions had a 'Thracian' type helmet, used a lance, and didn't carry shields).
But called a "Heavy Horseman", and with stats of 3-2-2, it would be PERFECT to fill the gap between the Horseman (2-1-2) and the Knight (4-3-2)! This would make it suitable not only for the "Alex the Great" scenario, but it would also be ideal for just about EVERY nation in a normal or 'random' game of Civ3! :goodjob:

If you post me everything you've got, I'll make the alterations and finish it off for you, then send you the completed unit so that you can post it here in the Completed Units Forum under your name.
(....no, don't argue; it's YOUR unit, YOU created it, so it's only right and proper that it should be posted under YOUR name. A simple "alterations by Kryten" is all that I require or deserve. ;) ).

Cheers mate! :D

Here's what I have. This unit would have remained uncompleted for some time as I have little free time these days. So do whatever you want with the graphics and you can credit me as you see fit.

Thank you very much Net55.

I'm very, very busy with the Macedonians at the moment, but I hope to have your unit ready for you in about....say....2 weeks.

Cheers! :)
