New Unit shows in Civlopedia but not in build options

Working on my first unit. I have had many troubles, but have managed to solve most. Right now I have the unit registering in game to the point that I can see it in the Civlopedia but I can not see or build it in the build menue of my cities.

What could possably be causing this behaviour?

Try to see database.log and look for errors.

Turns out having religious strength activated on the unit stops it showing up. So now I need to figure out how that works.
