Sorry for a newbish question. The benefits of trade routes are per-turn benefits, right? Not a single payment at the end of the duration of the route?

I have another n00b question about trade routes that I am positive has been answered elsewhere but that I can't find confirmation for: in CiVI, you can re-assign trade routes at will, right? Instead of waiting however many turns for it to complete?

Er, I thought you could NOT reassign routes once assigned.

Internal trade give like one food and one production, and last a dozen turns, at least. Just leaving it at that.

Just so I'm clear: One food and one production per turn, right? So, using your example, a 12-turn trade route would generate a total of 12 food and 12 production (1 good + 1 prod per turn) in the "sending" city?
