newbie question - stations' order

Is it possible to change a route of a train adding a stop in the middle, for example between the 2nd and 3rd stop? or am i supposed to reset the whole route?

I'm curious about this as well. It gets annoying having to rebuild a route over and over as your network expands.

You should be able to add a new stop without problem. Just go into the route page and delete the 3rd stop, add in the new stop, then re-add what was the third stop. If you totally change a train's route by going on different tracks, you have to pay a "transfer" cost to transfer that train to new rails. But what you are doing will not require that cost.
