Hi. Picked up civ4 a week or so ago and everything seems to be working fine, except...
I carried out my first attack of a city with 3 archers and all I got was 3 red lines of text saying they'd been killed. No graphics, no animation, nothing, just text.
Just got a whole system upgrade with my pc so I'm sure it has nothing toi do with that. Has anyone else had this problem? Takes a lot of fun out of the game. Oh well there's always civ 3 to fall back on.
P.S I had 3 archers attack as a stacked group and all I got was text but when I made 1 of them attack the city by itself graphics of the unit shooting arrows appeared. Is that how it's meant to be and why no graphics when 3 combined units attack?
