Hi,

I'm playing at deity level, am in monarchy and so are the Aztec. I just captured Technochtitlan (Capital) and have a dip next to an other city.
I'm not sure if this is their last city, but that shouldn't matter.
If I enter the city with my dip there is no option to 'buy' the city by revolt?!

Any idea's?

Thnx.

I'm not sure if it's different in Diety, but if you take an opponent's capital, the remaining cities can be subverted by dips until a palace is built. I've done this in the past by conquering the capital by force and subverting the remaining cities. (It's cheaper too, since the capital is gone.)

I hope that helps.

I don't think it matters what level your playing at. If the AI has enough coins, it instantly moves its capitol to a new city when you capture its original. This can happen several times in a single turn, until the AI runs out of coins to build a new palace, or cities to build it in. If it runs out of coins, you can than bribe the remaining cities at a good rate. Note that you can still bribe its other cities except for the new capitol.

Remember that if the AI is in democracy, you cannot bribe anything.
