I guess there are two parts to this. The first I have seen posted before but figured I would mention it anyway since it is related to part 2. When you start a game and you pop a tech hut before you found your first city it will not give you anything. This is understandable since you have not began teching yet. It would be easily correctable though.
I haven't had this problem before until tonight. I have had it happen atleast twice, possibly 3 times. I have already founded my first city and maybe on turn 3-4 I will pop a hut and get nothing out of it at all. I have popped huts and they haven't shown up in the log but did give me something before, so I checked. No extra tech, no extra cash, no experience, and no map increase. I am playing a huge diety game with 1.52. I haven't played huge or deity very often so I don't know if it is the setting or what.
