No speakers?

Ok as I posted before in this thread I have recently reinstalled windows xp. But for some strange reason my speakers won't work. I put the stick in the right place, but when I open my soundunits it says no playing of soundunit is installed.

Have you tried installing the dirvers (again)?

They should either be on a CD you got with your PC or you can download them .

Speakers need a driver? I changed speakers dozen of times, but never had to install a driver.

Speaker's may not need a driver, but the sound card sure does
