Hmm... didn't notice this thread until now. Time to crush any positives of the N-Gage whatsoever.
The N-Gage... looks horrible. Like a taco, as they call it on GameFAQs, although I hear it's not very tasty for a taco. Being a taco, it looks ridiculous trying actually use the cell phone, with the screen pointing
outwards.
Oh, and the price. Started out at $300, went down to $200, now bundling their games with it. Then again, the N-Gage has already been hacked so you could play their games on a regular cell phone if you wanted. Not to mention that their games are all mostly ports of old PSOne or GBA games anyway.
Oh, and to change games, you have to take the battery out to change it. Plus there's like a million buttons on that thing but only three are used or something. And it's vertical oriented. And it looks like a taco.
Add in the fact that Nokia is trying to market it as a "gaming console" with it's grand total of TWO games (Sonic N on GBA, and Super Monkey Ball on GCN) and a couple of bad games coming out later. Then Nokia says it's an "adult" GBA and a twenty year-old wouldn't pull out a GBA Friday night, although I guess XIII does this every day now.
Did I mention the N-Gage looks like a taco? Seriously, just look at the thing.
Interesting though, is if you look at GameFAQs poll today, of how many people have the N-Gage, more people have more than one than one. Must be a bunch of Nokia execs or something.
