Fair enough, good, I feel secure to do my 15 minutes of fame here, and I will post the negotiations here in a separate thread. Please PM me their MSN Addresses, and I will prepare negotiations with screenies, surely their quantitative Dutch merchant mindset will betray their true agenda, as they seem to emphasize numeric preference in all dealings they do above assymetric and non-numeric preferences. And if they seek to bluff us bad or press us hard on this proposal, which I will present up front, we will still kill off their Brazucan lovers with a morning star into their astounded and shocked heads when our suprise unfolds.

And I picked this date on the assumption that I could attend it, but yesterday I heard I have a meeting this every evening where I have to be available. And I couldn't have known that before either. So I won't be there.

In short: they don't have a need to sell Monotheism:

About a non-aggression pact:

I would find that a little self-righteous and patronizing.

One thing still remains, we are the only nation that has the realistic chance to defeat C3B before any war will get to modern. We do not need to worry about any dealings with CDZ about any treaties, but any tech deals would be good.

I think that from now on we should treat CDZ as merchants. No more. That is their wish and trying to force them to get in the potential war between us and C3B will clearly be fruitless.

War Profiteers that is. And we should let them know we think that way. I am more a Richard Holbrooke type than a Hans Blix type, and believe in direct and honest diplomacy, not feeble Politically Correct Diplomacy.

They can't really pose a threat until astronomy, but they do have the tech lead. After all, they and their ally could either be researching different paths or be giving gpt to one team for four turn research.

I believe that we should address the CDZ guys in the 'behind the scenes' manner. PM people at CDZ and see if you can get them to push their team into getting us Monotheism. We would like, if possible, to not have to research that tech. We could go directly to Chivalry if we don't need to research Monotheism.

I tried that numberous times. Their lips are sealed tight when it's not official diplomacy.

I'm quite positive they already have Feudalism.
