Noob question

I have a short question: How can I get the features displayed, shown in the red boxes in the attached pictures? (the great people bar, great general bar and those handy messages "city x has grown to size 5, civ x has x gold ready for trade etc"

I think these are part of a patch or mod, but I can't find them in the mod section.

Does anyone know where to get these options? (I have civ4 BTS, if version matters)

Its a mod known as BUG, or Bts Unaltered Gameplay. You can download it from... somewhere... The developers DO have a thread for it, I believe in the Project and Mod development section.

As mentioned above, it is the BUG/BAT mod. BUG gives you all the prompts and can be customized display-wise. BAT adds graphics for each civilization. So all Roman units, cities, cottages, etc all look Roman. BAT has BUG 3.5.1 contained within it and it is all I play with anymore. It does not alter the core game, so one only needs to enjoy the new eye candy.

I didn't know it was named BUG/BAT, I've been searching for HUD display / changes, so that explains why I didn't get results.

BAT is a great mod that includes BUG mod among others.
