I think you can hit the F9 key on your keyboard to bring up the stats window. If you choose the second tab from the right (Best Cities or Greatest Cities... something to do with Cities lol), it displays a list of the Wonders and what city it was built in.
Hit F1 as you send your units in, it will bring up the cities overview, double click on the small picture at the left hand side of your new city to enter the city manager screen it won't ask you to keep/raze till after you leave the city screen
When I saw the question I remembered that being mentioned in an older thread, so I used worldbuilder to test it, works great! I don't really consider it lame as it is something that shoulder been allowed in the first place
Totally. I remember when I first started playing the game (for real on diff higher than Chieftain) I was habitually getting pissed that I couldn't see what the city has to offer before razing/keeping it. Still ticks me off, but no longer
All the buildings in a city are also represented on the game map. It can be a little tedious late in the game when cities are well established but after doing it a few times you'll be able to recognize most buildings without having to look it's picture up in the civilopedia.
