Nostalgia for Sega

I can still remember the intro scene and music from Centurion defender of Rome. The chariot races rocked, but I got to a point where I could win everytime. Also, did you ever actually advance in a battle? I just stood pat, let the enemy come to me and move my cohorts to flank after they engaged.

To this day nothing frightens me more than a horde of scythians, except maybe having Marcus the Meek as my commander.

Thumbs up for desert strike and the Phantasy star games as well.

Tassadar, you played Phantasy Star without a map? Wow, Im VERY impressed. You must have a mind like a steel trap.

I still have not found a fantasy RPG that I feel is as well done as the phantasy star games.

I admit that i drawed my own one, most of them, teleporter was confusing so i asign them a code and a link to where they transport.

I have always been very good at 3D visualisation, either chemical molecules or rpg map or first person shooter map.

Those phantasy star 2 map were insane complicated and full of monster, attack rate were exausting, thanks to the snow crown ( cut damage in half).

Madden '92. Buffalo rocked. Jim Kelly and Thurman Thomas. Bruce Smith! I still play RE on Madden games. With Barry Sanders you could just keep hitting the spin button and watch the defenders bounce off. The only way to defend against him was to corral him out of bounds!

I had a baseball game too. They weren't licensed... so the best team (Toronto) had great player names like Robot. He was my main man... .311 with speed and power. Found a .211 hitter with speed on my bench... had a bunt offence. Three bunt base hits.... then Mr. Slugger with 41 homers. Yeah... baby!
