3 races were in this i was the one who built it. So two of us were strong and one was weak. The two of us who were strong voted for soemthing i forget which easily met the qualifications to pass, but because the small guy said no the vote did not pass it would just say that the vote did not pass.

Did the 3rd civ defy the vote? In that case it's like a veto (or so I've heard. Never had an AP vote yet, apart from chosing the leader :( ) and the resolution doesn't get passed while the civ that vetoed it gets some penalties (increased unhappiness, lesser member status).

hopefully that shows what im talking about everyone voted for it but no one wins

he doesnt thought every few years the election comes up again no votes. And it says leading canidate...he doesnt win

then how come there are no other votes...we just keep voting every few years for a leader for the job

Because the winner can have the option of deciding not to put any resolutions to the vote. I have done this myself - when the only resolutions you have are to reassign your cities to someone else, often you don't want to do that! :D

But if you provide a save from before one of these votes, it can be confirmed.

Also it doesnt bring up a vote if there is nothing to vote abouth.
Each time i have been attacked a vote appears a short while afther to stop the war. In between there no votes as every country got at least 1 city with the religion.

No PValiant is right. I had to go through three leadership votes all won by my main rival before he actually became Resident of the Apostolic Palace. I think it's a bug.

I've experienced the same thing, where I've won the election several times, but never had the opportunity ot oput anything else to a Vote. Firaxis shouls clarify how this all works. I'm inclined to think there have to be certian pre-requisits met first, but at the same time, I think it could also be a bug.

Me too. And I couldn't select any voting resolution except victory (which I did and got the vote for).
