Hi All.

I am experiencing flickering in opening screen, and also in game, and city names are covered with red rectangles . I updated graphics driver but still same.

My Hardware is , NVIDIA GTX 970, i7 4790K, 32 GB RAM with 3 SSD Disks

I have no problem with my laptop, which is i7 and GTX 850M .

Any suggestions? thank you

I'd suggest a screenshot so people can actually see what you are talking about....

I was originally thinking your GPU might be having hardware issues but the screenshot doesn't indicate it, the artifacting wouldn't be bound to so regularly to the drawn shape. I'm actually not sure what could be causing that but I can suggest a few things that are relatively easy.
1) Disable Anti-Aliasing ingame, I've seen it cause similar issues before.
2) Try re-installing the 3rd party packages (DirectX and C++ Redists) that accompany the game. Located in ...\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Sid Meier's Civilization VI\_CommonRedist

If neither of these work it's probably worthwhile posting back with DxDiag information.

Thanks callan.

Very interesting but problem resolved by reinstalling game. at first installation, I was sure that download was stopped and resumed several times due to network problems. but I know that file checksum mechanism need to resolve corruption at downloading stage. someone from steam may check this issue.

this issue may happen again in case of any network problem at download.

thanks
